challenge

challenge

The app had to track multiple inputs, from mood and meals to goals and sleep, without overwhelming users or making them feel monitored. The challenge was to keep the experience light and simple while still giving users meaningful feedback
on their routines.

What I Focused On

What I Focused On

My goal was to design a health tracking experience that felt simple and rewarding, not like a chore. I focused on reducing input friction, giving users quick feedback, and helping them build a daily rhythm without pressure. Also, I designed a section where users could check quick recipes to help them maintain their goals.

What I Would Measure

What I Would Measure

  • Daily input consistency rate across tracking areas

  • Drop-off rate after onboarding

  • Time to complete a full check-in

  • Frequency of processed food entries or items flagged with additives

  • Correlation between check-in streaks and user retention

What I Would Measure

What I Would Measure

Talking to early testers made one thing clear: people want
to track their health, but they don’t want to feel judged
or micromanaged. I learned that success in this space isn’t about collecting more data, but about making it easy to start and satisfying to keep going.
